Sportswave 2026 Canadian Choice Award Winner

Sportswave wishes to personally thank everyone who has helped us over the years to promote any and all sports in various areas of not just BC, but also sporting events world wide.

The main goal of Sportswave Media is to help promote todays youth to help them achieve not just success but also reach the goal of their dreams which in today’s world can be hard to reach.

This award and recognition simply isn’t for me alone but several others such as Sportswave Photographers Laird Allan, Mark Steffens, Wes Shaw, Derek and Kiyomi, Doug Wescott as well as play by play Jagraj Lalli and others.

In addition to promoting sports on Sportswave we cover various sports on Eastlink TV, formerly Delta TV as well host interviews with several Politicians in and around the City of Delta with Kevin Adlem whom I have been working with dating back to the late 80ties – which has been a blast to cover!!!

Namely special “Thanks” to various Sports Teams, Organizations, Clubs plus several Local, Provincial and Federal politicians and owners who are open to any and all questions we may have, which is appreciated!!

There are countless others who deserve thanks all of whom are too numerous to mention which are appreciated more than they know!

Sports in today’s world can and does take a back-seat due to some coaches, parents and executive members want to become involved in areas they have no means of interfering with other parts of the game.

This happens in part due to the ongoing disrespect of parents all directed to and at today’s young officials for all sports, which is sad considering it borders on harassment or simply put ABUSE which should never happen.

Given the way in which the world is changing with the overall disrespect it’s sad to not only see but watch happen.

Over the past while we have heard about adults getting involved in situations that should be sorted out by club executive members ONLY without any involvement of outside adults who only create issues for today’s youth.

Promoting all areas of sports is and will be our on-going mandate for the betterment of all sports and are pleased and thrilled to be awarded with this prestigious award.

Recognition of this award is for out involvement within the sporting community in various areas, local and other areas across the country.
