In keeping with various sports groups and organization we received the following and wanted to keep you up to date with the Canada Soccer’s Women’s Futsal National Team.
It’s a sport that few are aware of in which we receive various notes about upcoming sporting events, tournaments and/or championships we continue to promote.
They have managed to be placed after a draw and placed into Group B alongside Spain, Thailand, and Colombia for the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025™,
The event is still a while away noting that it will take place from November 21st to December 7th this year being held in Pasig City, Metropolitan Manila.
The Official Draw was conducted at the BGC Arts Center in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, hosted by Mara Aquino and FIFA Head of Olympics, Futsal and Beach Soccer, Kasra Haghighi.
Futsal legend Falcao, Croatia coach Tihana Nemcic, Philippines international Hali Long, and volleyball player Vanie Gandler served as draw assistants.

Group A will feature hosts Philippines alongside Poland, Morocco, and Argentina. Group C includes Portugal, Tanzania, Japan, and New Zealand, while Group D brings together Brazil, IR Iran, Italy, and Panama.
Canada earned their place at the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup by winning the inaugural Concacaf W Futsal Championship earlier this year in Guatemala City.
Competing in their first-ever international tournament, the newly formed Canadian squad posted four wins in five matches, capturing the continental title and securing their ticket to the global stage.
Alongside the championship title, Canada was recognized with the Fair Play Award.
Léa Palacio-Tellier was named Best Goalkeeper, while Esther Brossard earned both the Top Scorer and Best Player honours after leading the tournament with eight goals.
The FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025™ marks the first time that women’s futsal will be showcased on the global stage.
Canada will now continue its preparations for the historic competition, where 16 nations will compete to lift the inaugural trophy.

In December 2022 he was Awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Pin.
