The Whitecaps are drawing record number of fans for all home games which is a huge upswing in the overall attendance from years back which is exceptional for the fan base as well as the organization.

A crowd of 26,080 at BC Place was treated to an entertaining match, as Vancouver Whitecaps FC and D.C. United played to a hard-fought 3-3 draw.
The Blue and White had goals from striker Brian White, winger Bruno Caicedo, and attacking midfielder Thomas Müller. Whitecaps FC (15W-5D-6L, 50 points) remain three points clear at the top of the MLS Western Conference, with a game in hand.
Among several changes with players away for international duty, Whitecaps FC manager Jesper Sørensen gave a first start to midfielder Aleksa Cvetković.
The 21-year-old Serbian was acquired last month via transfer from Serbian SuperLiga side OFK Beograd.
Emmanuel Sabbi had plenty of pep in his lightning-fast steps. He opened up attacking avenues throughout the first half, including a long sprint before laying off for oncoming White – a low attempt stung D.C. United goalkeeper Sean Johnson’s palms.
Against the run of play, D.C. United drew first blood in the 16th minute. A Keisuke Kurokawa corner pinballed until midfielder Kimito Nono tapped in past Whitecaps FC ’keeper Yohei Takaoka for 1-0.
Whitecaps FC dug deeper. Left winger Bruno Caicedo turned on the afterburners, with his ensuing cross being redirected by Sabbi directly to White.
Johnson parried the first attempt, but White emphatically roofed his own rebound to equalize.
He collected a new career high with his 17th MLS regular season goal of 2026 – along with his 97th career Whitecaps FC goal.
On the eve of the half, Caicedo juked in for an impressive one-two with Müller – the winger slotted home the return pass for a 2-1 lead.
After play resumed, a Keisuke Kurokawa corner led D.C. United centre back Lucas Bartlett headed the ball in to tie it up at 2-2.
Müller recharged the BC Place faithful. Off a Cvetković set-up, the German legend called his own number as he hammered a 20-yard drive off the woodwork and in for a 3-2 lead. Cvetković collected his premiere Whitecaps FC goal contribution on the play.
However, D.C. United yet again equalized. Nono booted a volley home for 3-3.
Deep in stoppage time, substitute Sam Adekugbe made a terrific run into the box, setting up Mathías Laborda for a final chance that just missed the target.
The Blue and White will now head out of town for five straight matches. First, Whitecaps FC touch down in the Windy City for a rescheduled clash with Chicago Fire on Tuesday, October 6, at 5:30 p.m. PCT.
