2026 Eastern Blind Hockey Tournament

Canadian Blind Hockey is thrilled to announce that the 2026 Eastern Regional Blind Hockey Tournament will take place as part of this season’s Hockey Day in Canada celebrations in Moncton.

This will be the first-ever Blind Hockey tournament in the province!

The Eastern Regional Blind Hockey Tournament will be a two-team three game series featuring up to 34 players from across Canada.

Each of the four Atlantic Provinces will be represented by players from the hometown Moncton SeeCats, the Nova Scotia SeeKings, the Newfoundland Eye-Landers, as well as players from PEI.

Players interested in taking part in the 2026 Eastern Regionals can apply by completing the form on Canadian Blind Hockey’s website in the news section and in the recent newsletter update: https://canadianblindhockey.com/…/the-2026-eastern…/

In addition Tuesday it’s #GivingTuesday, Canadian Blind Hockey Needs Your Help.

It’s no secret that 2025 has been our best year yet: more programs, more events, and more participants mean that Canadian Blind Hockey’s life-changing impact is at an all-time high.

Our on-ice success also means significantly more costs: more Blind Hockey pucks, more ice time, and more requests for support through our financial assistance program means that we need to raise more funds than ever to ensure that we can continue to make hockey accessible for all Canadians who are blind or visually impaired.

Today we are asking for your help as we launch a campaign with the goal of raising $100,000 in support of life-changing Blind Hockey programs between now and the end of the season.

When you donate, kids like Mitchell get opportunities to play the game.

Every donation – big or small – directly impacts the participants and families we serve.
